Raise Your Voice Project

The Raise Your Voice ProjectEntailed 6 artists making work based on the March on Washington Aug 28th 2020. I was approached by Snapchat to create a visual that would embody the strifes I experience as a black woman, while also speaking to the issues of our time.

“By using my handwriting I had the ability to stretch and pull the font to create what I wanted and give it the meaning It should carry. By emboldening the words voices and power it is meant to show there’s strength in words and because of that they should be animated and move in a respectful way.”

This partnership was possible by Rebuild Foundation and Snapchat. If you want to purchase the limited edition masks - all funds go to helping black and POC in need through this non-profit organization.
